Menu for May 18 – 24

May 18, 2020 By The Garage Guy

If the weather forecast is correct, this is going to be a spectacular week, so we’re heating things up a bit with the addition of BBQ lunch on Wednesday, some tasty Creole cooking and the return of fan favourite SMASH BURGERS and GARAGE BIRD!

Orders continue to be a bit crazy, coming from all corners of the internet, so we’re going to ask everyone to please order through messenger at facebook.com/thegarageguybbq so that nobody slips through the cracks!

Real Deal Barbecue

Because BBQ is our passion, we figure we should offer up some real deal smoked meats on an ongoing basis! These will be supplied cold for you to warm at home.

Pulled Pork

$12 per pound

Smoked beef brisket

$18 per pound

Sides – Creamy coleslaw, potato salad or macaroni salad, baked beans

8 oz $4

16 oz $8

Mac n cheese is a long time BBQ staple and our customers rave about our version which combines silky Quebec cheddar with the unique tang of asiago.

Tuesday – Jamaican chicken curry with rice Single order $12, Family order $60

Moist and juicy chicken thighs are stewed with potatoes and peas in an incredibly tasty broth with a hint of scotch bonnet peppers for warmth. Served with rice.

Wednesday – lunch and dinner

Lunch – for contactless pickup only by pre-order via Facebook

Your choice of our real deal smoked pulled pork or brisket on a Cobs Bread roll, with our creamy slaw, either on the sandwich or as a small side. Sandwiches can be sauced or unsauced. Pulled Pork $10 Brisket $12

Dinner – Brisket chili with maple cornbread $15

Smoked beef brisket chunks add a deep, smoky flavour to our meaty chili, with just enough, but not too many beans. Sandy’s moist maple cornbread is perfect to sop up the last bits of joy in the bowl.

Thursday – Jambalaya – Single order $15, Family order $75

A bit of Cajun flavour in The Garage this week, sausage, chicken and shrimp, simmered in a deep sauce, served with a healthy portion of rice.

Fried Chicken Friday aka Garage Bird $12 per person, Family order $60

This one is making us infamous! Two pieces of our fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. In the event that corn isn’t available, you will get whatever veg we can get our hands on! Can be made Gluten Free.

Saturday – Smash burger spectacular!

You asked, we answered! Our Smash Burger Spectacular is making a comeback! All beef burgers, smashed with onions and lightly seasoned with our Brake Dust Beef rub and topped with melty American cheese and pickles. These are so good you don’t need anything else!
