Roy Foss Challenge

July 11, 2017 By The Garage Guy Leave a Comment

In the middle of June, we were excited to put on a feast for participants in the Roy Foss Challenge to celebrate the near completion of an incredible exercise. The event saw participants from the Roy Foss group and Cadillac Canada cycle from Montreal to GM Canada headquarters in Oshawa, Ontario. The group made daily stops along the route, finishing up at Darlington Provincial Park, just across the bay from GM’s offices.

The cyclists and support crew went crazy when the star of the show was unveiled, as pictures of our super crispy pig were posted all over social media. Guests were free to hack off their own chunks of juicy pork, while Gary carved off slices of succulent roast Ontario lamb.

The next morning, because they hadn’t ridden far enough, the cyclists headed north to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, where they rode a lap of the historic Mosport Grand Prix circuit before heading back to GM to complete the event.

Groupe Esprit de Corps organized the ride and put together this super recap video of the action on the road.

The 2017 GMC Canyon was our workhorse for this awesome event!
